Meet now

Frankie did an excellent job with our daughter’s prep for secondary school exams. She did an excellent job diagnosing what our daughter needed to focus on. Then structured sessions around improving those areas. And she did it in a very constructive way (daughter wants to keep working with her after the exams!). Happily, through Frankie’s tuition she received an offer from all three places we applied.

SEN Experience

Frankie has experience working with students with the following SEN needs:

Frankie is a qualified Assessor of Dyslexia and Level 7 Specialist Teacher- Assessor in Dyslexia and Literacy. Frankie is able to provide assessments for both children and adults who experience difficulties in Literacy and provide diagnostic reports which can then be shared with schools providing guidance on how best to support the students and highlighting areas of both strength and weakness. She holds an Assessment Practising Certificate (APC) and is a Member of the Dyslexia Guild. Over recent years she has studied with both Middlesex University and Dyslexia Action to obtain the above qualifications. She is currently studying for a MEd in Dyslexia and Literacy to further complement her current qualifications. Over a number of years, Frankie has supported a range of neurodivergent children, focusing on building confidence and giving lessons and tuition that ensure they realise their 'superpowers' and can thrive in educational settings, which may not always resemble a typical classroom setting. Her teaching strategies focus on a range of multi-sensory activities and are individually tailored to each student. Learning through games and activities which play to each child's strengths are paramount to the way she teaches and she likes to ensure that all of her lessons are enjoyable and fun, along with helping to teach in ways that are often different to what can be experienced in a school classroom setting.

What parents and students say

Average rating: 5 stars from 9 reviews • 100% would use again

Frankie is fabulous, she makes each session varied and enjoyable and manages to keep my son focussed, not always easy!

Frankie is very patient, professional, flexible and creative to make the lessons fun. The usual tasks that my child did not enjoy doing at school was really fun to do with Frankie. We would recommend Frankie to other families.
