Nick is a highly experienced UK-trained educator and international education leader. His expertise combines deep classroom authority with specialised online mastery, guaranteeing academically rigorous and engaging tuition for students worldwide. Nick’s experience consists of twelve years of classroom teaching in reputable international schools across both Europe and Asia. This includes teaching across Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2), culminating in a role within the middle management team at a major international school in China. In this leadership capacity, Nick was instrumental in shaping and adapting the UK curriculum to ensure cultural relevance, high academic standards ,and seamless progression for the diverse student body. This senior involvement ensures Nick possesses an intimate, in-depth knowledge of the entire UK National Curriculum progression, from foundational phonics and early number skills to the advanced comprehension and reasoning skills required in Year 6.

Working in Asia also provided invaluable expertise in supporting the distinct needs of globally mobile families and EAL (English as an Additional Language) students. Crucially, Nick holds the Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE), guaranteeing that his tuition methodology is academically sound and aligned with the highest UK teaching standards.

Building upon his traditional classroom success, Nick has dedicated five years to specialising in online tuition. This transition required mastering the technical and pedagogical demands of the virtual environment. This specialisation includes proven success in preparing students for crucial international benchmarks and school entry requirements, such as TOEFL, CAT (Cognitive Abilities Test), and KET (Key English Test).
