Maud has been providing my son with exam tips and techniques for his English GCSEs. He has greatly enjoyed working with her. As a scientist he has really appreciated Maud's clarity and precision in pinpointing the difference between a good answer and an excellent answer. He absolutely trusts her experience and insight when it comes to tackling exam questions, and in drawing out a deeper understanding of nuanced meaning in text and poetry. We have valued the way in which her encouragement has given him greater confidence in his own ability to tackle a subject that he has found challenging on occasions. Excellent teaching.

Maud is amazing. When I started sessions with Maud I was a C level student with some good ideas and when I finished with her I received an A in my English Lit A Level exam. She really pushes you for the most advanced and nuanced arguments and helps you think deeply about the text you're studying, as well as transforming my approach to essay technique. Simply put, after Maud's sessions I felt I had the tools to turn in an excellent essay no matter the subject, and was confident both in my form and in the substance of my argument.

The tuition was just right for our daughter. Maud was a fantastic tutor and provided lots of great advice and helped address some of the key areas our daughter needed practice on. Maud was excellent. She had a professional manner and clearly showed a great deal of experience in helping children towards their 11+.

Maud resoundingly met the challenge of preparing our son who lives in Caribbean to sit Highgate exams in 3 short weeks.
