Tutor profile - Gwynne

Gwynne has been involved in education and tutoring for over 20 years. He has taught all age groups from ages 4 up to 16. He has tutored children for the 11+, GCSE, SATs or just to help them in their school subjects. His main aim and enjoyment is to see children develop their confidence and skills in a subject.

His teaching generally follows a pattern of revising a skill already known, introducing a new skill by direct teaching and working through problems together, and then practising it using a variety of methods, preferably games and quickfire tests.

He has developed an excellent knowledge of the curriculum both for the 11+ and through the school years. He has a very strong interest in SEN issues and helping learners close the gap and developing their knowledge and skills.
