The AQA A-Level Philosophy specification includes four main areas: Epistemology, Moral Philosophy, Metaphysics of God, and Metaphysics of Mind. our tutor will help you explore each of these, understand key arguments, and critically evaluate philosophical positions. This is particularly helpful for the 25 mark essay questions in each paper.

There are two exam papers:

  • Paper 1: Epistemology & Moral Philosophy (3 hours)

  • Paper 2: Metaphysics of God & Metaphysics of Mind (3 hours)

Yes. Your tutor can set regular homework (such as reading key texts, writing mini-essays or preparing argument maps), provide relevant resources (recommended philosophers, articles, textbooks), and give detailed feedback to help you refine your thinking between sessions.
