Tutor profile - Maggie

Maggie has been a primary school educator for the past 4 years both in the United Kingdom and in Australia where she began her career.

She has been tutoring for the past 6 years while teaching and studying at university. She has experience in Key stage 1 phonics and beginning readers as well as working with students who need extending in their literacy through Key stage 2 and into high school. Her passion is maths making learning hands on to build conceptual understanding and feeling confident to achieve in tests. She has assisted students in preparation for 7 Plus, 8 Plus and 11 plus successfully both as a tutor and classroom teacher.

Maggie is able to tutor across all primary subjects and is confident in building your child's core skills in numeracy and literacy so they can transfer those skills to all subject areas.

Maggie strives to make all of her lessons as engaging as possible and will tailor them to your child's needs.
