Harry's biography

Harrison has 7 years' experience teaching in Prep schools and successfully preparing children for 7+, 8+, 11+, CE and independent school entrance examinations. Harrison graduated with a First Class History degree from the University of Nottingham in 2014 before serving in the Royal Air Force. He completed his PGCE with distinction in 2018 and since then, has been teaching in independent schools across the Midlands.

Harrison has helped children from across the country with applications to the UK's top grammar and independent schools. Former pupils have gone on to places at St Paul's Girls', Harrow, Repton, Rugby School, Godolphin & Latymer, Oundle, Warwick, King's High and Roedean. Alongside tuition in the core subjects (English, Maths, Science), he is adept at preparing children for interviews and more informal assessments.

When not teaching, Harrison enjoys single-handed sailing, motorcycle racing and walking his dog. He can also often be found rambling in the Lakes and is only occasionally lost.

Harry has successfully completed the Owl Tutors training course in 7 Plus exam preparation. This means they have a thorough understanding of the structure, content and demands of these exams and are qualified to prepare students. Training is delivered by Holly, a highly experienced school entrance tutor and member of the Owl Tutors team.
