We could not have asked for a better fit for our son. Emily made him comfortable from the start and he actually enjoyed the tutoring. Emily is an enthusiastic, engaging and dedicated teacher. She began her teaching career by training through Teach First, after completing a Biology degree from The University of Nottingham. Since then, Emily has worked in various different London primary schools. She has helped children pass their 11 plus exams and worked as a year 6 teacher, preparing children for their SATs. She has worked with children from EYFS to upper key stage 2 ages. In addition to her London teaching career, Emily has also taught in Cambodia. Whilst teaching abroad, she primarily taught science, but also English as an additional language. She has a passion for helping children achieve their full potential, through encouraging pupils to meet individualised targets.

Emily has done a brilliant job of forging a learning relationship with my son such that he actually wants to have sessions. I was fully expecting significant push back from him at having to do extra work at the weekend. That hasn't happened and indeed he is really happy to do 'extra' work because of how brilliant Emily is.

Emily is brilliant. She built a strong relationship with our 9 year old daughter really quickly. Emily had helped her make great strides in both her Maths and English and our daughter is now better able to concentrate and is more confident tackling tests and complex problems. Emily has been communicative and helpful throughout and we’re really grateful for all her work. Thank you!
