Tutor profile - Alexandra

Alexandra is a skilled tutor and qualified primary school teacher with experience supporting applicants to Dame Alice Owens and Haberdashers' Girls School. Her background as a leading literacy specialist enables her to work successfully with students struggling with English as well as phonics.

With 20 years' teaching experience, Alexandra has a wealth of knowledge of phonics, reading and writing skills development. Previous roles were at Middlesex University (2015-2018) as a teacher trainer and as Head of Education at The Children's Literacy Charity (2018-2022). She has tutored in English and Maths since 2004.
Alexandra can support with public speaking skills, LAMDA exams and also teaches Greek language skills. She has supported those with literacy difficulties/dyslexia to enable them to succeed in their education.
