Georgina has extensive experience in supporting 7+, 8+ and 11+ aged children improve their levels in English and Mathematics, as well as a variety of other subjects, including MFL. Georgina also has extensive experience working with and developing learners with SEND, including; Autism, ADHD, PDA, Speech and Language Delay, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Sensory Processing, and Developmental Delay. Georgina is available for Online tuition only.
A highly motivated and dedicated educator, Georgina has proven and extensive experience within education settings over the past seven years. This experience has included a variety of roles, such as Class Teacher, Private Tutor (in-person and online), British ambassador on behalf of the British Council (Madrid, Spain), Camp English Teacher (Valencia, Spain), and as a Learning Support Assistant. Georgina achieved a first class in her PGCE, and obtained a distinction in her QTS. Alongside her PGCE and QTS, Georgina also attained a SEND specialism, and is proficient in Makaton.
Honing her holistic style and individualised approach to teaching, Georgina has successfully demonstrated her ability to support students of various ages, and get tremendous results, in the following areas; Primary Education (Key Stages 1 and 2), Special Educational Needs (SEND), English as a Foreign Language (all ages and in accordance to CEFR), as well as Spanish (up to GCSE). Throughout her experiences, Georgina has built excellent and trusting relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
Additionally, Georgina studied Theatre and Spanish at Lancaster University, where she achieved an Upper 2:1, and has a number of additional accreditations related to her teaching, such as an Advanced TEFL certificate. Furthermore, Georgina's experience as a British Ambassador brought her to Madrid, Spain, where Georgina taught English as a Foreign Language for a year, as well as truly embedding her own language studies in Spanish, living and working amongst Spanish Culture.
Consistently bringing warmth and enthusiasm to learning, Georgina is incredibly passionate about bringing learning to life, making education accessible to all, and delivering bespoke sessions that are both inspiring and engaging, often using her artistic background and creative flare to do so.
Georgina qualified to teach Primary education in 2022, and holds a Primary Education (5-11) (SEND) PGCE with QTS from London East Teacher Training Alliance/ Sheffield Hallam University .
