Tutor profile - Jade

Jade is an enthusiastic and kind teacher with 9 years experience working in primary education. After completing a BSC honours degree in Psychology, Jade completed her PGCE through the University of Buckingham.

Over the last 9 years Jade has gained valuable experience teaching Key stage 1 (KS1) and 2 (KS2) English, Maths and Science. Her most recent role being KS1 lead teacher responsible for creating and delivering an inspiring curriculum for Year 1 and 2 pupils. In her role as a class teacher, Jade has been responsible for preparing KS1 pupils for 7+ and their transition into Year 3, as well as KS2 pupils for their 11+ exams and transitions into various senior schools. Jade has good experience doing 1:1 tutoring where she has been able to make a big difference in pupils confidence and outcomes.

Jade believes that a respectful, interactive and nurturing environment allows students to learn to their full potential. She knows that by getting to know her students and incorporating their interests into personalised and challenging lessons she will be able to keep engagement and foster a love of learning.
