Isobel's biography

Isobel studied French at Pembroke College, Cambridge and is now completing her PhD. She has a wealth of experience tutoring in a range of subjects, though her passion is always the Humanities.

After graduating, Isobel was part of the Teach First Primary Programme, specialising in Literacy and Languages. Isobel was rated Outstanding as an NQT (Newly Qualified Teacher).

Since leaving full-time teaching, Isobel has been mentoring and tutoring students of various ages and levels, across the humanities. Alongside this she is doing a PhD in French at King's College London.

Isobel's experience is particularly suited to students looking for support in writing and structuring essays, formulating arguments and building confidence in critical thinking. She is available for online tuition, home tuition, and residential stays.
