Efe has worked with children aiming to attend the following schools:
Efe has five years full-time teaching experience as a teacher at various primary schools in Haringey, Hackney and Walthamstow. He has over 10 years of tutoring experience, having started tutoring children while he was at university. Efe is very used to teaching a very diverse group of children and excels at tailoring provision to the needs of each individual child. He has successfully prepared children for The Latymer School, Highgate School and University College School.
Efe’s tutoring style provides a showcase of his teaching philosophy and skills. He believes very strongly that conceptual understanding is paramount if knowledge is to be truly gained and he focuses in achieving this with his students. His zeal in promoting this conceptual understanding has been highlighted for praise by the schools in which he has worked time and again.
Efe is currently teaching in North Harringay Primary School in Haringey. He is looking forward to getting back to the basics of individualised, dialogic teaching with the children under his tutelage and preparing them to achieve their goals.
Efe studied Archaeology, Classics and Classical Art University College London before completing a Master’s degree in Archaeology of the Eastern Mediterranean and the Middle East at the same university. He has a PGCE Primary from the prestigious Institute of Education and also holds a Diploma in Translation from the Chartered Institute of Linguists.
Efe has many hobbies and loves learning as much as teaching. He is a PADI-certified diver, has fenced competitively at university and is currently teaching himself Spanish.
Efe qualified to teach Primary education in 2014, and holds a PGCE from Institute of Education.

"We entrusted Efe with helping our nine year old son build up confidence In creative writing. We have been really impressed with quality of the supports brought to work on every session. (These) varied in themes, types and targeted to our child year level and interest. It really felt like he knew exactly what to do and our son has really progressed as a result."

"We had our final session with Efe on Sunday. We had a positive experience. He was friendly and professional and in the main able to engage son - who was at times recalcitrant about being tutored! "

"Efe has been a delight to welcome into our home each week - professional and personable, kind and authoritative. He is a remarkable communicator, both with our child, and with us as parents: always willing and ready to let us know where progress is and isn't being made, areas where our child needs to work harder, and looking for ways to get the best out of child - Efe just seems to 'get' him, which is no mean feat in itself! Efe, like all of our tutors, is a qualified teacher and has been interviewed by us personally. All of our tutors have at least two years of classroom teaching experience and come with fantastic references and criminal records checks.
