Amy is a qualified primary teacher with over seven years' experience across the state and private sectors. After graduating from the University of Cambridge with a BA in Classics - and a brief stint working in Film (children are always very excited to learn she worked at the final two Harry Potter premieres) - she completed her Primary PGCE at the Institute of Education.
Following her graduation from Cambridge University where Ria specialised in English Literature with Education, she went on to teach in a variety of primary schools, mostly independent preparatory schools. She also became Head of Year at a number of these schools and took part in a Teacher's International Professional Development exchange visit where she was given the opportunity to teach in China.
Having graduated from Sheffield University (BA English Literature, 2-1) in 2004, Ben completed his PGCE at Bristol in 2007. He has then spent 13 continuous years teaching in top UK independent and international school sectors, including roles as Head of Department at Uppingham, Deputy Head of Department at St Albans and Head of Year at the British International School, Ho Chi Minh City.
Claire graduated from Imperial College in 2011 with an Engineering degree and is currently in her eighth year of teaching, exam marking and tutoring mathematics. Her experience as a teacher, examiner and a tutor over the last eight years has given Claire many of the skills necessary to successfully tutor students of all ages.
Laura studied Linguistics and Phonetics at the University of Leeds. She then decided to pursue a career in teaching and earned a place on the prestigious Teach First Leadership Development Programme, a teacher-training scheme for high-achieving graduates.
Rosie studied Classics at the University of Oxford from 2013-2019, achieving an undergraduate 1st and a Distinction in her Master's. Afterwards, she completed a PGCE at King's College London, winning the Roman Society PGCE Prize for her research into Classical reception studies, student creativity and Assessment for Learning.
Jay is a qualified Solicitor that re-trained to become a Teacher. He is now Head of Maths at a London prep school and has over 10 years experience of successfully helping students to secure top grades at 11+, pre-test, Common Entrance and Scholarship.
Emily is a full-time educator with over six years of experience. She is an English Literature graduate (BA) of the University of Aberystwyth where she especially enjoyed papers in Anglo-Saxon, Medieval, female empowerment and Viking Sagas.
Raj studied for degrees in Mathematics at Keele University (BA Hons) and Oxford University (MSc) and has over 35 years teaching experience in Private Schools, Grammar Schools and Colleges.
He is also an Associate Lecturer for The Open University.
