Juan graduated with a first in Biology from Imperial College, London and taught for four years, training through the Teach First program. A passion for explaining tricky concepts in science led him to pursue a Master's degree in Science Communication, also at Imperial, during which time he developed his skills further by producing short films and radio shows based around scientific issues.
Fleur is an experienced teacher with over ten years experience of raising achievement in London schools. Her enthusiasm and student centred approach has been a led her to have many successes including consistently helping students of mixed ability to score above their predicted grades.
Charlotte can teach all levels of French and Spanish, but particularly specialises in:
- A level (Pre U, AQA, Edexcel)
- 16+ entrance exams
Charlotte currently teaches AQA French and Spanish A level at London Academy of Excellence. Prior to this, she taught the Pre U in both languages at Harris Westminster Sixth Form for three years and acted as SENCO there in 2017-18.
Having taught Spanish and French for two years at a secondary school in South London, Imogen was promoted to Acting Head of Spanish upon completion of her NQT year. During this time she identified the need for and led successful interventions supporting high ability students as well as those with special educational needs to achieve the best possible grades.
Maria read Spanish at the University of Oxford, graduating in 2015, and then joined the prestigious Teach First Leadership Development Programme. She gained an ‘Outstanding’ PGCE from the UCL Institute of Education and has taught for a number of years in a diverse North London Academy, specialising in Early Years and Key Stage One.
