Sam's biography

Sam attended Abingdon School in Oxfordshire before studying Business Studies at Liverpool University. He worked in sports marketing among other professions before switching to study for a PGCE at London Metropolitan University.

Sam is an accomplished teacher with over 11 years’ experience of teaching in London. He has spent the majority of his years preparing year 6 children for their SATs assessments. He was also head of computing at two schools tasked with improving the use of technology in learning as well as the standards of teaching computing across the school.

Although new to tutoring, Samuel has mainly focussed on preparing children for their year 6 SATs exams. Alongside the school team, he has helped in improving levels of reading, writing and maths.

Sam qualified to teach Primary education in 2011, and holds a PGCE in Early Years and Primary from London Metropolitan University.
