Holly is a lovely enjoyable teacher. She knows how to deal with kids very well, both education wise as well as personality wise. She managed to get our son to open up to her and I hear him laughing and enjoying the sessions. She always has a good answer that make my son think back and know what went wrong without making him feel bad about mistakes. His improvement has been significant. She is really good and I appreciate her a lot. She is very knowledgeable.

Holly has been able to quickly form a strong bond with our son and spotted the gaps that need addressing in his preparation for an entrance exam. Holly’s sessions are well structured, progressive and positive. She gives plenty of encouragement and lots of hints and tips as well good feedback on progress made.

Holly is patient and kind, but still gently pushes our daughter with new subjects and challenges!

This is our first experience of hiring a tutor. To give some context to fellow parents, we are an overseas family relocating to London from an International School setting. The process can be incredibly daunting and stressful - especially since the London school scene is oversubscribed and highly competitive. I selected Holly based on her stellar credentials and lovely, warm manner during a preliminary phone interview. Thereafter, I immediately knew that she was the right fit for both my daughter and me. She quickly identified the gaps in my daughter’s understanding of Maths, communicated them to me and set the expectations for the 8+ exam. My daughter went from thinking that she was struggling with Maths to looking forward to seeing Holly every week. Holly taught Maths in a warm, non-dogmatic and meaningful way. I loved eavesdropping on their lessons and fully understood the methods that Holly used. Holly took the trepidation out of getting the answer wrong and showed such patience, sincerity and warmth towards my daughter. My daughter went on to pass all 3 of her 8+ exams, 2 of which were highly academic and prestigious Central London prep schools. I cannot commend Holly highly enough! Holly also tutors in English, and reasoning papers. A bonus and true all-rounder!

My Daughters loved having Holly teach them maths. They felt it was a massive help ahead of their entrance exams and really made a difference to how many questions they could answer. Holly was so flexible with timings of sessions and always tried to accommodate us. My youngest said, “I wish Holly could be my maths teacher at school”. We will be asking for Holly's help ahead of exams on the future too.

Many thanks for Holly's effort in tutoring my 15-year-old daughter. My daughter has had an interest in English and English Literature and would like to learn the most of these subjects. Joining a UK boarding school at the beginning of Term 2 of Year 10 is a bit hard for her to catch up with the syllabus and teaching style. She herself aims high and did not want herself to be left behind. At the end of Term 2, she asked if we could find her an experienced tutor to guide her. Holly is such a competent, passionate, responsible and intelligent person in knowing what gaps my daughter needs to be filled in. After a term -long, weekly tuition by Holly, Allie has successfully grabbed the skills in approaching English literature, started to enjoy English lessons at school a lot. The grades and comments given by her school English teacher is already a strong evidence in showing everyone, including herself, the big improvement. Now, my daughter has gained not only competence in English Literature and Language but her level of confidence in subjects have obviously been boosted up.
