Georgie

Georgie gained a 2:1 from UCL where she took modules in Maths, Literature, and Classics. She then began teaching Maths in a prep school in Kent where she completed her PGCE and taught Maths to Year 3-8, including successfully preparing students for 11+ and 13+ entrance exams and scholarships. It was also at this time that Georgie started tutoring privately and has since really enjoyed being able to work with students 1-1, providing carefully structured and tailor made lessons to help pupils achieve their goals. After four years in Kent, she spent two years working at Wellington College International Shanghai where she taught Maths up to iGCSE level and enjoyed working with a range of pupils; during this time, she also completed her Masters in Education.

In 2022 Georgie returned to the UK and is currently Head of Maths and Year 6 at a successful Prep School in London with a focus on preparing pupils for entrance to the top London schools. Georgie's extensive pastoral experience within schools gives her an edge in providing personalised, friendly and student-led private tuition.
