Aisha is an experienced primary school teacher of 16 years in the independent sector and is available to tutor children of all primary school ages. She obtained a BA (Hons) in French with English at Kings College, London, and completed her postgraduate teaching qualification at the University of Cambridge.
She has taught core subjects including English, Maths, Science and Humanities across Key Stages One and Two and specifically focuses on 11+ entry, exam and interview preparation, offering booster classes and one-to-one sessions for those applying to senior school. The students that she has taught have gone on to achieve places at prestigious schools such as Dulwich College, Haberdashers, Merchant Taylors’, QE Boys and City of London among others.
A talented linguist, she has taught Latin and French and served as the Head of Modern Foreign Languages at a leading independent school in Dulwich. She has also taken on other leadership roles in the schools that she has taught at including wellbeing which forms an integral part of her teaching style, ensuring children are confident,happy learners.
Aisha has excellent interpersonal skills and is adept at planning highly interactive, fun and inspiring lessons that foster a love of learning. She is able to adapt to various learning needs when tutoring and has helped many children who struggle with dyslexia and dyscalculia to make excellent progress in Maths and English.
