Sobia is one of our most experienced entrance exam tutors in Maths, English, Critical thinking, Science, VR and NVR at 11+, 13+ and 16+ with a solid track record of success over the years and hundreds of testimonials from happy parents. She is the rare tutor who teaches both Maths/Sciences and English/English Literature at 16+.

She has done over 10,000+ hours of tutoring. Sobia also tutors Analytical/logical Reasoning, Critical Thinking, General papers, Problem solving and interview technique (and Biology/English/Psychology at post 16+).

She has extensively prepared students for schools such as Eton College, Harrow, St Pauls, Wycombe Abbey, Westminster and Brighton College. She prepares for interviews as well as exams.

Sobia has taught and tutored for over 20 years and also tutors Chemistry, Maths and Physics to GCSE, Biology, English and Psychology to A level and IB, and Biomedical Science and English to degree level.

Sobia has been a Head of Psychology at Heathland School and Ashbourne Independent College where she taught AQA and Edexcel specifications; and Head of Biology at Campbell Harris Private College where she taught OCR and AQA specifications. She has examined student work and supervised coursework practicals. She also taught and tutored A level English Literature at Ashbourne and Duff Miller Sixth form colleges.

She has a BSc in Biomedical Sciences and a PhD in English Literature.

Sobia is a qualified hypnotherapist, NLP practitioner and coach who helps adults and young people including students with stress and anxiety. She enjoys travel, fitness and writing in her spare time.
