Benjamin's biography

Benjamin has more than 13 years of combined experience working both as a private tutor and teacher. He has also worked as Assistant Housemaster at a prestigious British boarding school and Artisan of Education at the top elite Swiss private school. He is very experienced with in-person and online tutoring with a variety of students and SEN needs, from beginners to experts.

With a pupil-centered teaching philosophy, Benjamin designs all of his lesson plans, learning materials, and teaching around the individual with whom he is working. He ensures that students are helped and enabled to use 'smart learning and revision strategies'. This approach increases pupil agency and self-confidence, but also improves understanding of how their brain works to more effectively process and remember information.

No matter the subject or pupil aims, teaching and learning must interest, stimulate, and delight. As an expert and passionate tutor, Benjamin balances confidence-building, motivation, academic rigour, and high expectations to ensure an enjoyable learning journey for every student.

I work as a full-time tutor and have plenty of flexibility throughout the week, particularly daytime slots.
