Tutor profile - Benjamin

Benjamin has several years' experience working both as a private tutor and teacher/assistant housemaster at a prestigious British boarding school. He is very experienced with in-person and online tutoring with a variety of students, ranging from children to adults and beginners to experts.

With a pupil-centered teaching philosophy, Benjamin designs all of his lesson plans, learning materials, and teaching around the individual with whom he is working. He possesses years of experience and professional interest in making learning both accessible and intrinsic (i.e. saved in the long-term memory) to every student.

Benjamin ensures that students are helped and enabled to use 'smart learning and revision strategies'. This approach increases pupil agency and self-confidence, but also improves understanding of how their brain works to more effectively process and remember information.

Benjamin also borrows from Charlotte Mason with teaching methods to ensure curiosity, communication, and academic progress become easy, enjoyable, and active for a lifetime.
