Kelly's biography

Kelly qualified as a teacher in 2006 after graduating from the Institute of Education in London. She joined a London Independent school and taught across the key stages from ages 3-13. Having gained the necessary classroom experience, Kelly took on her first student as a private tutor in 2007. She quickly established herself as the 'go to' tutor for students hoping to pass the 7 and 11 plus locally and in Central London.

Kelly has a great deal of experience tutoring students with special educational needs including Autism, Dyslexia and EAL. She served as an examiner for the English and Mathematics Sats in 2010 and 2012.

Kelly has worked extensively as a Common Entrance tutor and has helped many students to pass entrance exams for top schools in London. Additionally, she is experienced in preparing pupils for top boarding schools. Three of her students were recently accepted to Wycombe Abbey School and four to Cheltenham Ladies College. She has helped many students gain entry (including two with scholarships) to Chigwell School and Bancroft’s School. In the past 10 years, she has had multiple students accepted to City of London Girls and Boys, St Paul’s, Westminster, Dulwich College and Godolphin & Latymer Schools. She is confident preparing students at the 7, 11 and 13+ entry points to schools and is familiar with both the ISEB and school-specific examination papers.
