Jacqueline

Jacqueline is a great Tutor and helped my child get into a lovely school with around ten sessions. She lifted my child's chances of passing the entrance exam massively having come from a non prep school, in a short space of time. She got a double scholarship.

A great and patient tutor for our son, who quickly assessed his strengths and weaknesses and worked hard to close gaps in his learning.

Jacqueline is a fabulous tutor! She is excellent at engaging my somewhat head strong daughter and has not only picked up on her strengths, but is encouraging her to build on them which is increasing her confidence. Jacqueline’s knowledge is second to none, but what makes her wonderful has been her ability to get to know my daughter, understand her way of thinking and adapt a teaching style that brings out her best work. I trust Jacqueline 100% and no longer sit in on my daughters sessions. I leave them to it as I know Jacqueline has the experience and level of expectation that is needed to help my daughter reach her full potential.

Jacqueline is a fabulous tutor! In the beginning she made it a priority to get to know my daughter and talk about her interests which made my daughter feel at ease. Her lesson planning is very clear which is brilliant as I know what to expect and her feedback is extremely helpful. She has identified my daughters strengths and weaknesses which as a parent is a relief after receiving little feedback from school. I would say Jacqueline’s teaching style is structured, firm but at the same time always encouraging. Jacqueline is happy for me as the parent to have as much or as little input as I like in terms of what she works on with my daughter. But I leave Jacqueline to take the lead. I 100% trust Jacqueline and know my daughter is in excellent hands.

Jacqueline has been tremendous in helping my son with his preparation for the 7+ assessment., covering all aspects required (comprehension, maths, english, reading etc). Oliver loved her right from the start. Never once did he complain about having his session with her. She really is excellent and we'll miss her. I will certainly be in touch with her again should we need further tuition.

Jaqueline was a fantastic tutor for my son Zak. In terms of targets and goals, Jaqueline shared useful materials, ensured Zak was exceeding expectations for 7+ Testing and remained thoughtful, thorough and supportive through out our sessions.

Jacqueline helped us through the unknown changes to assessments due to the lockdown / pandemic. She worked with our child to prepare them for the online assessments and interviews. Specifically, she advised with regards to book choices, questions and worked on development areas. We were delighted to receive two offers at 7+.

It went well with Jacqueline! I think in person would have worked better but it was a strange year and that is not down to Jacqueline at all, we think she is absolutely brilliant. Our son was offered places at 2/3 of the schools he sat for.

Jacqueline had an hour online tuition with my son. Jacqueline organised a very detailed assessment and managed to quickly assess my son's strengths and weaknesses. Most importantly, her expertise has helped us to understand what private entrance assessment is about, and what areas we need to focus on. It's a remarkable session we had and it has certainly add some values towards the positive outcome we are proud of.
