After graduating with a BSc Psychology(2:1) from Cardiff, Ruth has taught in various selective independent schools in North London, including four years as a Year 6 teacher at St Albans High School for Girls. She has a wealth of experience in preparation for entrance exams, including English, Verbal and Non verbal reasoning and Maths.
Alanya strives to develop confidence, resilience and enthusiasm for learning in each of her pupils. Her students have gained places at competitive schools across London, achieved scholarship awards and increased their confidence in school through regular 1:1 support.
Rebekah grew up in Switzerland and so has been exposed to multilingualism from an early age; as a child, she spoke English at home, French at school, and started learning German at the age of seven. She is passionate about languages and convinced anyone can pick them up—with just a little time and commitment!
Rebekah went on to study French and German at Southampton University where she achieved a First.
Throughout academic study, Tim has continually set himself high expectations: he achieved nine A* grades at GCSE and performed well enough in the International Baccalaureate to meet his offer to study English Literature at the University of Exeter. He fully applied himself at degree level, enjoying the diverse and challenging modules (including a year in Canada where he focused on North American literature), and he was very pleased to graduate with First-Class Honours.
Emily is a full-time educator with over six years of experience. She is an English Literature graduate (BA) of the University of Aberystwyth where she especially enjoyed papers in Anglo-Saxon, Medieval, female empowerment and Viking Sagas.
