Ready to be matched with your ideal IB tutor?

The experience and professional training of our tutors, all of whom are teachers, sets them apart from other tutors. Aside from their successful track records supporting students one to one, they have years of experience in the classroom. Additionally, many of our IB tutors have taught or led International Schools and therefore have an excellent understanding of the IB curriculum within schools and how it is delivered.

In short, our IB tutors are IB experts.

Our tutors cover all IB subjects, including both the Middle Years Programme and the Diploma Programme. They are also able to support the Diploma Maths Programmes which are relatively new.

Our tutors can also provide advice and guidance on IAs as well as the mandatory Theory of Knowledge course.

We do not charge registration or placement fees and there are no “minimum term commitments”.

Yes. Our IB tutors support students at both Standard Level (SL) and Higher Level (HL). HL subjects often require deeper conceptual understanding and exam technique, so we ensure students are matched with tutors who have strong HL teaching experience and a track record of supporting students aiming for top IB grades.

Absolutely. We offer dedicated IB Extended Essay tutoring, including help with:

  • choosing and refining a research question

  • structuring the essay

  • academic writing and referencing

  • meeting IB assessment criteria

Our Extended Essay tutors guide students without over-editing, ensuring the work remains fully compliant with IB regulations while improving clarity, structure and analysis.

Yes. Our IB tutors offer specialist TOK support, helping students develop strong arguments, understand knowledge frameworks and write high-scoring TOK essays and exhibition commentaries. TOK tutoring focuses on critical thinking, clarity of expression and direct engagement with the prescribed titles and assessment criteria.

Yes. All our IB tutors are fully familiar with the current IB curriculum and assessment structure. Many are experienced teachers, examiners or graduates of top universities, and several have first-hand experience teaching the IB Diploma Programme. This ensures students receive up-to-date, syllabus-accurate guidance.

Yes. We provide online IB tutoring to students across the UK and internationally. Online lessons are delivered using interactive platforms with screen-sharing and digital resources, making them just as effective as in-person tuition. Many families choose online IB tutoring for its flexibility and access to specialist tutors regardless of location.

Yes. IB tutoring can significantly improve results by focusing on:

  • exam technique and time management

  • understanding mark schemes

  • strengthening weak topic areas

  • targeted revision strategies

Our IB tutors work closely with students to build confidence and help them maximise their predicted and final IB grades.

Yes. We support students in both the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) and the IB Diploma Programme (DP). MYP tutoring focuses on foundational skills, subject understanding and assessment preparation, helping students transition smoothly into the more demanding IB Diploma years.

We carefully match each student with an IB tutor based on:

  • subject and level (SL or HL)

  • learning style and academic goals

  • exam timeline and workload

This personalised matching ensures students receive effective, targeted IB tuition rather than generic support.

In most cases, IB tutoring can begin within a few days. Once we understand the student’s needs, we recommend a suitable tutor and arrange lessons at times that fit around school commitments and deadlines.

Yes. Many of our students are high-achieving IB candidates aiming for grades 6 or 7 or competitive university offers. Our IB tutors provide stretch, challenge and advanced exam strategy, not just remedial support.
